Nathan Sharp, better known as NateWantsToBattle, is releasing a new physical Sonic album titled Gotta Go Faster & Knuckles.
The 18-track collection brings together Sharp’s Sonic the Hedgehog covers from across the franchise, including music from Sonic Adventure, Sonic Adventure 2, Sonic Heroes, Sonic Forces, Sonic Unleashed, Sonic Colors, Shadow the Hedgehog, Sonic X, and the Sonic the Hedgehog animated series.

Gotta Go Faster & Knuckles is currently being offered in two physical formats through Shark Robot. The dual vinyl edition is priced at $39.99, while the CD edition is available for $24.99. Pre-orders for both versions will close on July 1, 2026, with shipping estimated to begin in October.
The complete tracklist is:
- “Gotta Go Fast” from Sonic X
- “Escape from the City” from Sonic Adventure 2
- “Infinite” from Sonic Forces
- “Fist Bump” from Sonic Forces

The dual vinyl listing also credits Arin Hanson on “Infinite.”
One of the album’s biggest additions is “Take Control,” described as Sharp’s first original song inspired by Sonic the Hedgehog rather than a cover of an existing track. The song will receive its own digital single release on July 8, with pre-saving currently available through Spotify.
The album arrives during a particularly busy period for Sharp’s Sonic-related work. He is also featured on “Escape From The City – Nathan Sharp Version,” a newly recorded track included on SEGA MUSIC’s upcoming 35th anniversary compilation, Forever Fast – 35th Anniversary of Sonic The Hedgehog.
Sharp previously performed during the Sonic 30th Anniversary Symphony and is also scheduled to appear at SONIC-LIVE! A Musical Odyssey of Sonic the Hedgehog in Tokyo on June 28.
