Japanese select shop FREAK’S STORE, operated by Daytona International, has officially launched its SEGA 65th Anniversary Collection, a large collaboration celebrating 65 years of SEGA’s legacy. The collection is available starting November 5, both in stores across Japan and online via Daytona Park.

To mark the launch, FREAK’S STORE has released a short video featuring MON7A, a viral high school artist who appears alongside Sonic the Hedgehog in an exclusive crossover clip. The short will be shared soon on FREAK’S STORE and SEGA’s social media channels, showcasing MON7A’s personal style and love for Sonic through a vibrant fashion feature.

Born July 6, 2007, in Tokyo, MON7A rose to fame in 2025 after appearing on ABEMA’s reality show Kyou, Suki ni Narimashita: Halon Arc. With over 1.5 million TikTok followers, he has quickly become one of Japan’s most talked-about young creators. His breakout single Oyasumi Taxi became a social media hit, followed by his second single HEA7EN in September. He will hold his first fan meeting, MON7A 1st FAN MEETING “ON!”, on December 21 at Zepp Haneda.
You can follow MON7A on YouTube, TikTok (Creator), TikTok (Music), Instagram, and X (Twitter).
The SEGA 65th Anniversary Collection brings the worlds of Sonic the Hedgehog, Yakuza, Puyo Puyo, NiGHTS, SEGA Saturn, Crazy Taxi, and OutRun into modern streetwear. Designed to capture SEGA’s gaming spirit through a contemporary lens, the lineup includes 26 unique items ranging from apparel to collector’s goods.
One of the highlights is a limited glow-in-the-dark Sonic sofubi figure, sold exclusively online and at select FREAK’S STORE locations for ¥11,000. The figure is available at Ikebukuro PARCO, Kyoto, Tokyo Solamachi, Umeda Lucua Men’s, Hakata Amu Plaza, Karuizawa Prince Shopping Plaza, and on the Daytona Park Online Store.

The product lineup includes sweatshirts inspired by Sonic the Hedgehog, Yakuza, Puyo Puyo, NiGHTS, and SEGA Saturn, priced at ¥6,600 each and available in black, white, and charcoal gray. Accessories such as caps, drawstring bags, keychains, badges, cushions, and hand towels round out the collection, along with loungewear sets, sauna kits, and sandals. Each piece features SEGA’s signature creativity, with classic motifs, retro logos, and reimagined visuals celebrating the company’s long history. For this collaboration, FREAK’S STORE has revived SEGA’s very first logo, which appears as a tag design across all items.

The collection launched on November 5, 2025, and is available in Japan nationwide and online through Daytona Park from 12 PM JST. Availability and stock may vary by store.
To celebrate, FREAK’S STORE is hosting special events and giveaways. Players can take part in the Daytona Park Original Sonic Game, featuring Sonic and FREAK’S mascot “Freak-san,” for a chance to win the exclusive Sonic sofubi figure and ¥20,000 in Daytona Park coupons. The campaign runs from November 5 to November 20, 2025.
A social media giveaway will also reward 15 lucky winners with collaboration bundles featuring SEGA games and FREAK’S STORE merchandise. To participate, fans can follow the official FREAK’S STORE, SEGA, and Daytona Park accounts and comment on the campaign post between November 5 and November 11.
