After more than two decades of waiting, Maria Robotnik fans finally have something to celebrate — she’s getting her very first official plush, and she’s not arriving alone.
Kidrobot has announced a brand new Shadow and Maria two-pack as part of their Phunny plush collection, marking the very first time the pair have been officially immortalized in soft toy form together. And yes, they can hold hands!
According to Kidrobot’s product listing, the plush set is inspired by the Sonic the Hedgehog 3 movie but fans will quickly notice something interesting: Maria is wearing her classic video game outfit, not the cinematic version. That makes this plush duo especially appealing for long-time fans of both the games and the films.
Each plush stands at approximately 7.5 inches tall and is crafted from soft, high-quality materials that capture all the signature details — from Shadow’s signature scowl and spiky quills to Maria’s blonde hair and gentle smile. Most notably, the plushies feature built-in magnets that allow them to hold hands, perfectly recreating their emotional bond from the Space Colony ARK.
