SEGA has shared updated franchise sales figures for the most recent quarter, showcasing the continued strength of its flagship titles across global markets. According to the company’s latest financial report (page 4), Sonic the Hedgehog led the charge with 1.47 million units sold between July and September 2025, maintaining its position as SEGA’s best-performing franchise.

Following Sonic, Persona achieved impressive results with 770,000 units sold during the same period, further cementing Atlus’ RPG series as a core pillar of SEGA’s global strategy. The Like a Dragon series, including Judgment, recorded 570,000 units sold, while the Total War franchise outperformed expectations with 860,000 units sold worldwide.

SEGA best-sellers between July and September 2025:

  • Sonic the Hedgehog: 1.47 million
  • Total War: 860,000
  • Persona: 770,000
  • Like a Dragon (+Judgment): 570,000

These results highlight the diversity and reach of SEGA’s portfolio, spanning everything from high-speed action to turn-based RPGs and large-scale strategy titles. Sonic continues to lead SEGA’s performance thanks to strong multi-platform sales and renewed interest from the ongoing success of Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds and Sonic Rumble.
