A major update has just landed for Sonic Blitz, shaking up the core gameplay with the introduction of a brand-new One Lane system and a series of adjustments across battles, cards, and progression.

Battles now run for six turns, with energy scaling per round at 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, and 10. On the sixth and final turn, players automatically draw an extra card. Defeating an opponent’s card now carries over any excess damage directly to their Force Field, while victory is determined by who has the most points at the end of six turns. To add to the spectacle, 3D models of all characters now appear during battles upon reveal.

All cards have been rebalanced to fit the new system, with Attack and Health values now displayed above or below the 3D characters during combat. Visual Upgrade Tokens have been removed entirely, and all card visuals are now fully upgraded by default.

The in-game shop has also received updates. Daily Packs now include one free Pack plus four available for purchase with Coins, while Blitz Pass prices have been adjusted. The Beginner Pass now costs 30 Red Star Rings (Gold) or 50 (Diamond), while the Generic Pass is set at 80 Red Star Rings (Gold) or 150 (Diamond).

Other major changes include the addition of new Five and Six-Star Coins, improved battle visuals, and a revamped Player Journey that now begins at level 1 and extends to level 30, with all existing player levels adjusted accordingly. Blitz Token rewards for both wins and losses have also been doubled, and the tutorial has been reworked to reflect the new system.

This update marks one of the biggest shifts in Sonic Blitz so far, creating faster, more strategic matches while refreshing the game’s economy and progression systems.
