SEGA HARDlight has rolled out a brand new update for Sonic Dream Team, adding a variety of fresh content to the Apple Arcade-exclusive 3D platformer. The update is available now and includes costumes for every playable character, an all-new level designed specifically for Shadow, and collectible music from across the Sonic franchise.

The standout feature is a new corrupted version of Ego City, now affected by the spreading Nightmares. Shadow takes center stage in this challenging new level as players must use his abilities to push back against the growing threat.

Character customization also gets a boost with the addition of unlockable skins. Players can now collect new outfits for Sonic and friends by progressing through a new challenge reward track using XP.

Fans of Sonic music have even more to celebrate, as additional tracks can now be unlocked in the in-game jukebox. New additions include music from Shadow the Hedgehog, Sonic Frontiers, and last year’s Sonic X Shadow Generations.

In addition to these headlining features, the update includes new collectible statues showcasing the latest costumes, quality of life improvements, and a fix for an iCloud sync bug that had affected some players.

Sonic Dream Team is playable exclusively on Apple Arcade and supports play across iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, and Apple Vision Pro.

Stay tuned to Sonic City for more updates on Sonic Dream Team and the rest of the Sonic franchise.
