DC x Sonic the Hedgehog #1 is officially headed for a third printing, set to release on June 11. This marks the second time the debut issue of the crossover series has been reprinted, signaling strong demand and sustained interest from fans and collectors alike.
The third printing comes with a new cover featuring Shadow the Hedgehog in his Batman-themed variant. Like the second printing’s Flash Sonic cover, this latest design appears to reuse existing stock art—suggesting that the reprints may not have been part of the original rollout plan.
Retailers such as League of Comic Geeks have begun listing the third printing along with the updated cover art. Reprints like this typically only occur when earlier print runs sell out, making this a strong indicator of the series’ ongoing success.
DC x Sonic the Hedgehog #3 is scheduled to hit shelves on May 21.
