Sonic and Shadow are getting their own cookie tins!
SEGA has launched a new collaboration between Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds and SEGA UFO Catcher Online, bringing limited-edition prizes to its Japanese online crane game service alongside nine new decals for players to customize their machines.

The tins come in two versions, featuring Sonic and Shadow, each measuring approximately 12 × 12 × 5 cm. Inside are four original cookies decorated with Sonic characters, drawn from a selection of 14 different designs. You won’t know which character prints you’ve received until you open the tin.
These aren’t ordinary retail products. They’re limited-quantity prizes available through SEGA UFO Catcher Online, where players control real claw machines remotely through their phones or computers.
The prize promotion began on November 3, 2026, at approximately 8:00 PM JST, with availability continuing until supplies run out. SEGA hasn’t announced a fixed end date. The service also only ships prizes to addresses within Japan.
Meanwhile, Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds has received nine new SEGA UFO Catcher Online collaboration decals as part of its Version 2.0.0 update.
Three feature the crane game service’s branding and official mascot, Nine-chan, including a design inspired by Sonic-themed prize delivery boxes. The other six belong to the UFO Pinched collection, giving players more ways to decorate their machines through the game’s customization menu.

The decals are part of the broader selection of 25 brand collaboration stickers introduced with Version 2.0.0, which also added new designs inspired by The k4sen, AUTOBACS, Imuraya and Yoshinoya.
