The wait for The Wrath of Nazo continues to pay off! Team Full Power has released the fully animated first act of Sonic: The Wrath of Nazo – Full Power, bringing Chakra-X’s long-awaited Nazo Unleashed sequel one step closer to being fully realised.
The animation is available to watch on YouTube, and Newgrounds, which you can find below!
As Sonic City previously reported, the project takes Chakra-X’s original Wrath of Nazo story and animatics and turns them into a fully animated production. Chakra-X has given the team permission to adapt his work, although he isn’t directly involved in the animation itself.
The production is led by Paulo Cazares Belman, who serves as main director and producer, alongside a large team of animators, artists and editors. Chakra-X also receives special thanks in the credits.
It’s been quite a journey for Wrath of Nazo, which originally began development as a sequel to the legendary Nazo Unleashed before Chakra-X stepped away from producing it as a fully animated series. His own animatic version began releasing in 2023, while Team Full Power took on the challenge of bringing the existing story back to full animation.
Act 1 is the first of three planned parts, with the remaining two still in development. Release dates for Acts 2 and 3 haven’t been announced.
