Sonic the Hedgehog 4 has slipped by a week in France. Paramount Pictures France now lists the film for March 31, 2027, instead of its previously announced March 24 release date.
The change appears on Paramount’s official French website, where the film is listed as Sonic 4 – Le Film. French cinema website AlloCiné has also updated its listing to reflect the new date.
Paramount originally scheduled the French theatrical release for March 24, a date that had been public since January 2025. The distributor hasn’t explained the reason for the one-week delay or indicated when the change was made.
The adjustment is specific to France. Paramount’s U.S. website still lists March 19, 2027, meaning American audiences remain scheduled to see Sonic’s fourth big-screen adventure nearly two weeks before French moviegoers.
