The Sonic Prime Event is coming to Sonic Rumble, kicking off today, January 14, 2026, and bringing a full slate of content inspired by Sonic Prime.
The limited-time event adds a wide range of Sonic Prime-themed rewards, including the Prism Shards visual effect, Paradox Prism icon, stickers, and additional cosmetics. Players can progress through the Event Pass by earning XP in battles and completing event-specific missions, which also reward enhancement materials for skins and buddies.
The Premium Pass includes exclusive content, highlighted by the Renegade Knuckles skin and the New Yoke City Froggy buddy.
The event runs from January 14, 2026 at 8:00 AM UTC through February 6, 2026 at 7:59 AM UTC. Participation is straightforward, with players earning XP through normal gameplay and completing Event Missions to advance the pass and unlock rewards.
Alongside the event, the Red Star Ring Shop will receive a notable update. New and returning items include Rusty Rose, New Yoke City Big, Dr. Deep, and Tails Nine, with re-run bundles and skins also available for a limited time, including the Sonic Prime Bundle.
The broader update window extends beyond the event itself, remaining active from January 14, 2026 at 8:00 AM UTC through February 20, 2026 at 7:59 AM UTC.
