Sonic Blitz has just received a major update packed with gameplay changes, card rebalances, and new events for players to explore.
Core Gameplay Updates
- All cards now fight back to protect the Force Field when dashed against.
- A new 3D model viewer has been added, letting you see characters when opening packs.
- The tutorial has been reworked to reflect these changes.
Card Stat Adjustments
Several cards have been updated for balance:
- Tangle: +1 Health
- Flicky: +1 Health
- Amy: +1 Attack, +1 Health, and On Dash: -1 Attack
- Pachacamac: -1 Attack, +2 Health
- Metal Sonic: Gains a new ability
New Blitz Battle Zone Events
Two limited-time events have been added:
- 3rd-Card Auto Dash: Automatically trigger a Dash when three cards are played in a lane.
- One Lane: All of your cards now battle together in a single lane.
Ring Journey Updates
- The Ring Converter now rewards different package types.
- Excess Rings will now carry over into the next Converter reward bar.
General Updates
- The UI has been refreshed with updated visuals.
- Player profiles now include the Player Journey, accessible by tapping on player level.
With new ways to play, fresh balance adjustments, and even 3D character reveals in card packs, today’s update makes Sonic Blitz feel better than ever.
