The Sonic the Hedgehog 3 movie cast is getting bigger and bigger! After the announcement of Jim Carrey’s return as Dr. Robotnik for the Sonic Movie series’ third installment, IGN confirmed that the cast will also include the likes of Krysten Ritter (Marvel’s Jessica Jones, Don’t Trust the B—- In Apartment 23, and Breaking Bad), Cristo Fernández (Ted Lasso, Creatures, and Spider-Man: No Way Home), Alyla Browne (The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart, Nine Perfect Strangers, and Three Thousand Years of Longing), Jorma Taccone (Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping, Hot Rod, and Land of the Lost), Sofia Pernas (Blood & Treasure, Age of the Dragons, and Indigenous), and James Wolk (Front of the Class, Zoo, and You Again)!
While we still don’t know which characters they’ll play in the movie, a lot of rumors and speculation have been swirling around saying that Krysten Ritter will be playing the role of Rouge the Bat, and while still unconfirmed, Alyla Browne is no doubt going to play the role of Maria Robotnik, Dr. Gerald Robotnik’s granddaughter, and Dr. Robotnik’s cousin, both debuting in Sonic Adventure 2 and playing crucial roles in the game’s story, from which the movie will take heavy inspiration.
