It looks like Jim Carrey isn’t going into retirement just yet, as a Variety article has confirmed his return to reprise his role as the maniacal Dr. Robotnik in the upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog 3 movie, set to hit theaters on December 20, 2024!
This news comes hot off the heels of the Sonic Movie social media accounts posting a short video revealing the full logo for the movie, where at the end, a familiar menacing cackle can be heard, which has been confirmed to be Jim Carrey himself.
Sonic Movie fans can also count on the return of the cast from the previous 2 movies with Tika Sumpter, Ben Schwartz, James Marsden, Idris Elba, Colleen O’Shaughnessey, Lee Majdoub, and Adam Pally confirming their return to their respective roles on social media!
