A brand-new Sonic tabletop experience has been revealed at the 2026 New York Toy Fair. KessCo officially showcased Sonic Knock, the latest addition to its expanding lineup of Sonic-themed board games, with a full launch scheduled for August.

Displayed at the New York Toy Fair at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, Sonic Knock transforms the fast-paced energy of Sonic the Hedgehog into a physical, flick-based tabletop experience. Designed for two to eight players ages eight and up, the game centers on skill-driven puck flicking across a bold 3D board packed with obstacles and interactive elements.

Players use colored character discs and flick them across the board to complete objectives, collect rings, and disrupt opponents. True to Sonic’s competitive spirit, collisions play a central role. Opponents can knock each other off course, steal rings, and send carefully planned moves into chaos.

The board features tactile elements inspired by the games, including ring-stealing Badniks and the franchise’s iconic loop structure. KessCo has also introduced a Bumper Card accessibility option, allowing players who may struggle with flick-based mechanics to stay fully engaged.

Sonic Knock joins KessCo’s growing Sonic tabletop catalog, following earlier releases such as Sonic Roll and Sonic Speed Battle. While each game adapts the Sonic universe into a different format, Sonic Knock focuses on fast, physical interaction with competitive matches lasting approximately 30 to 45 minutes.

With its August release approaching, Sonic Knock continues SEGA’s broader expansion of the Sonic brand beyond video games, bringing the series’ high-speed action into living rooms and game nights.
