SEGA is bringing a dreamlike surprise to Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds with a brand new free content drop starring NiGHTS.
Starting Wednesday, December 24 at 4:00 PM PT, players will be able to race alongside NiGHTS, the iconic Nightmaren from the NiGHTS series, at no additional cost. The update is completely free for all players who own the Standard or Digital Deluxe versions of the game, whether physical or digital.
The NiGHTS Content Drop includes NiGHTS as a fully playable character, complete with their signature vehicle, the Dream Sleeper. Players can also unlock themed emotes and sound effects that bring NiGHTS’ distinct personality into the fast paced chaos of CrossWorlds.
As with previous updates, players simply need to ensure their copy of Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is updated to the latest version for the content to download automatically.
NiGHTS has long held a special place in SEGA history, and their arrival continues Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds’ ongoing celebration of SEGA’s wider legacy through free post launch additions. For longtime fans, this crossover feels right at home alongside Sonic and the expanding roster of guest characters.
The NiGHTS Content Drop goes live on December 24, making it a fitting holiday bonus for racers looking to add something a little more dreamlike to their lineup.
