SEGA of America and Waze have announced a brand-new collaboration that lets fans take Sonic the Hedgehog on the road—literally. Starting today, Waze users around the world can activate Sonic-themed voice navigation and icons, turning their daily commute into a Sonic-speed adventure.

Through this new integration, drivers can choose Sonic’s voice for navigation in both English and French, featuring his trademark confidence and upbeat energy as he guides users along their routes.
In addition, Waze users can now customize their in-app experience with Sonic-themed icons, including the Speedster Lightning vehicle from Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds and the Energetic mood that adds a dash of Sonic’s personality to your on-screen avatar.
The collaboration between SEGA and Waze is available globally starting today, marking another milestone as SEGA ramps up their celebration of Sonic’s 35th anniversary.
Whether you’re a lifelong fan of the Blue Blur or discovering him for the first time, this new partnership promises to make every drive a little faster, a little cooler, and a lot more fun.
