Summer may be winding down, but Sonic the Hedgehog isn’t hitting the brakes. SEGA has announced a brand-new collaboration with MOTEGI Mobility Resort, a motorsport circuit in Tochigi Prefecture, Japan. The event will run from September 13 to November 3, 2025, bringing Sonic and his friends to the track for fans and families to enjoy.
Visitors can take photos with Sonic around the circuit, join in on a stamp rally, and pick up exclusive souvenirs. Among the highlights are limited-edition Sonic-themed license cards, available on-site for ¥300 (around $2 USD) each.
Three unique card designs will be offered:
- Racing Around the World (from SEGA’s latest brand campaign)
- Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds
- Sonic & Friends
The official MOTEGI website also hints at additional activities planned throughout the collaboration period, giving fans plenty of reasons to make the trip during the autumn season.
