The Osaka–Kansai Expo 2025 is giving SEGA fans plenty to enjoy this summer. Inside the West Gate Zone on the first floor of the Ringside Marketplace, the Animate Osaka Kansai Expo Store is hosting its 10th rotating POP-UP space: SEGA POP-UP in Animate Osaka Kansai Expo Store. The event is underway now and will run until August 28, 2025, closing at 6:00 PM on the final day.
Visitors can shop for exclusive merchandise featuring brand-new illustrations of Sonic the Hedgehog, Puyo Puyo, Virtua Fighter, and Sakura Wars. Alongside staples like acrylic stands and can badges, the lineup includes summer-ready cooling towels in bottles, T-shirts with all four characters together, acrylic mini-figures, and collectible pins.
The POP-UP also goes beyond merchandise. Large panels showcase the new illustrations, game visuals, and a full timeline of SEGA’s hardware history. Fans can even admire the original consoles themselves, with the Mega Drive (1988), SEGA Saturn (1994), and Dreamcast (1998) all on display.
As a special treat, visitors can collect a Sonic the Hedgehog commemorative stamp during their visit.
