This month’s commemorative illustration from Sonic Channel features Shahra, the Genie of the Ring! Shahra made her first and only major appearance in 2007’s Sonic and the Secret Rings for the Nintendo Wii. A genie from the World of the Arabian Nights, her story is as intriguing as her unique hairstyle!
Although her only official appearance was in Sonic and the Secret Rings, Shahra bears a notable resemblance to Merlina, the main antagonist of Sonic and the Black Knight, the second and final entry in the Storybook series.
