Watch Jim Carrey’s Ivo Robotnik lead a double life as internet personality Huevo Diablo in a scrapped ‘Sonic the Hedgehog 3’ scene.

Jim Carrey’s eccentric portrayal of Dr. Ivo Robotnik takes a creative twist in a deleted scene from Sonic the Hedgehog 3. In this exclusive bonus feature revealed by Entertainment Weekly, Robotnik embraces his alter ego as a live-streamer under the moniker “Huevo Diablo.” The scene highlights Carrey’s trademark energy and humor, complemented by unfinished special effects, including visible blue screens, adding a quirky behind-the-scenes charm.

In the scene, Robotnik teams up with his grandfather Gerald Robotnik (also played by Carrey), Shadow (Keanu Reeves), and Agent Stone (Lee Majdoub) to steal a super-weapon key card from G.U.N. headquarters in London. While live-streaming to his “#EggHeads” and flaunting his “rizz,” Robotnik’s audience humorously turns out to be just Stone mashing the like button—showcasing their hilarious dynamic.

Fans can revisit Sonic the Hedgehog 3 starting January 21, with its digital release via Paramount Home Entertainment. The physical release on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD will follow on April 14, and a bundle featuring all three franchise films will also be available.
