Description

Seaside City is a sprawling urban center situated along the shores of a bay. It encompasses a blend of tall and modest structures, encompassing contemporary office edifices, a bustling downtown district, and unassuming suburban areas adorned with smaller constructions. Notably, the city’s defining feature is the prominent dock area nestled at the bay’s edge.

History

Crisis City and Big’s Big Adventure

During the Zombot invasion, the Chaotix were present in Seaside City as the calamity struck. Discovering that the Faceship was the source of the outbreak, pouring the Metal Virus onto a skyscraper, they swiftly decided to initiate an evacuation. Acting swiftly, they divided their efforts to rescue uninfected residents from various parts of the city. Vector coordinated with Amy for support and assistance, while Sonic himself arrived to help contain the Zombots.

As the evacuation progressed, the Chaotix guided the residents towards safety at the docks, where a Restoration Rescue Shuttle awaited. However, Charmy’s determined attempt to save one more person resulted in his infection. Overwhelmed by Zombots, Charmy was tragically infected with the Metal Virus. Espio and Vector, along with the survivors, had no choice but to depart in the Rescue Shuttle. Sonic, despite his best efforts, couldn’t locate Charmy in time and had to leave.

Subsequently, Big visited Seaside City in search of Froggy, encountering the eerie and desolate atmosphere caused by the Zombot outbreak. His search proved fruitless, and he observed a Zombot Charmy flying aimlessly in the city.[3]Sonic the Hedgehog Annual 2020, “Big’s Big Adventure”

Out of the Blue

The Chaotix are swamped with work, from Sonic the Hedgehog #31.

Following the successful efforts of Super Sonic and Super Silver in reversing the Metal Virus’ devastating effects, the Chaotix resumed their activities at their Seaside City office. However, their workload quickly piled up with a multitude of missing persons cases requiring their attention. During this demanding time, Cream, Vanilla, Cheese, Chocola, and Gemerl paid a visit to the office to express their gratitude and admiration for the Chaotix’s hard work. Despite the heartfelt gesture, the Chaotix found themselves overwhelmed by their workload, leaving them with minimal time to address even basic tasks.

In light of the situation, Vanilla stepped in to assist the detectives by managing incoming calls and coordinating efforts with Cream, while Gemerl processed critical information regarding the missing individuals. With the burden temporarily lifted, the Chaotix seized the opportunity to pursue their investigative tasks with renewed determination, setting out to locate and rescue the missing people.[4]Sonic the Hedgehog #31, “Recovery, Part 1”

Trial by Fire
