On a rare day when the mist has cleared
a quiet afternoon in Kingdom Valley
the oldest corner of the royal ruins.
By the window of an abandoned royal library
there was Silver, the future traveler, absorbed in reading an old book.
A special strolling spot
as he picks up this and that
his thoughts drift through the valleys between the books.

This time’s SONIC PICT is Silver’s secret reading spot!
In this month’s wallpaper illustration as well, Silver was reading a book while wearing glasses, wasn’t he? I wonder if it might be a book he brought back from here…? It really makes the imagination expand. The valley of books, quietly decaying within the ruins of Kingdom Valley. It must surely be filled with fascinating and precious volumes.
Even so, there is something almost poetic about Silver, who came from the future to the present, touching ancient books in these ruins and letting his thoughts drift even further into the past.
We too would love to enjoy a way of life where we spend meaningful time in places like this.
