Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds hasn’t officially launched yet, but early reviewers have uncovered one of the game’s biggest surprises — its ending theme is performed by none other than Japanese hip-hop duo Creepy Nuts.

The track, titled Get Higher, plays after completing all Grand Prix cups and is also available in the in-game Jukebox as race BGM with a special “Final Lap” arrangement. Known for their energetic mix of rap and rock, Creepy Nuts bring a fresh edge to Sonic’s racing world, marking one of the most high-profile collaborations in the series’ musical history.

While the opening theme Sonic Racing – Cross The Worlds – featuring James Bourne of Busted had been heavily promoted before launch, Creepy Nuts’ involvement comes as a surprise reveal discovered only through the full review builds of the game. Their inclusion adds another layer of star power to what is already shaping up to be one of Sonic’s most ambitious soundtracks to date.

Beyond the ending theme, the Jukebox showcases a massive lineup of contributors. Takahiro Kai of SEGA SOUND TEAM served as overall director and composed tracks such as E-Stadium, Water Palace, and Mystic Jungle. Tomoya Ohtani provided new music including Cyber Space CrossWorld, Wonder Museum, and Crystal Mine, and collaborated with Camellia on a remix of Kronos Island. Jun Senoue teamed up with ZARDONIC for a new version of Radical Highway.

Guest talent rounds out the roster with Tee Lopes (Market Street), TORIENA (Galactic Parade remix), and artists like nanobii, Aiobahn, Laur, Giga, and RIOT, along with SEGA SOUND TEAM members Tae Fujimoto, Kanon Oguni, Iona Takashima, and Satoshi Okamura.

With Creepy Nuts leading the way on the ending theme and a diverse range of veteran and guest composers behind the rest of the soundtrack, Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds offers one of the richest musical experiences in the series’ history.

Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds launches worldwide on September 25 for PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
