SEGA has announced a new Sonic the Hedgehog music-focused live event titled Sonic Music Experience, set to take place on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at the Club 1ne 2wo venue inside ESP Entertainment Tokyo’s 12th Hall in Takadanobaba, Tokyo.
Fans attending the event can look forward to a powerful blend of Sonic music presented in a never-before-seen format. Sonic series sound director Tomoya Ohtani will perform a high-energy DJ set featuring a wide variety of tracks from across the franchise. Meanwhile, fan-favorite composer Jun Senoue returns as part of the Sonic Adventure Music Experience trio band, performing instrumental tracks from Sonic Adventure, Sonic Adventure 2, and last year’s Sonic x Shadow Generations.
This hybrid DJ and rock format offers a rare chance to hear iconic Sonic tracks blasted through the speakers in a fresh, high-impact arrangement. It is an exciting opportunity for fans to experience Sonic music like never before.
Doors open at 15:30 JST, with the show starting at 16:30 JST. Tickets are priced at 6,800 yen (tax included), and attendees will receive an exclusive Sonic x Shadow Generations branded face towel as a bonus gift. The event will be all-standing, and no additional drink fees are required.
