At the laundromat, with nothing to do but wait for the dryer to finish… and on a rainy day, that feeling of “nothing to do” hits even harder. That way of spending time—doing nothing and just zoning out—can feel like a kind of luxury, a detox for the soul.
Sonic is usually active and full of energy, but he also loves relaxing on vacation. With the laundry still going and the rain falling, he might have just decided to take it easy, and despite his listless expression, he could actually be enjoying it.
