The official soundtrack for Sonic Movie 3 is now available for streaming on both Spotify and Apple Music! The album features 33 tracks in total, showcasing the compositions of Junkie XL (Tom Holkenborg), who returns once again as the composer for the soundtrack. However, it does not include the licensed tracks featured in the film, such as ONE OK ROCK’s “Neon” or Jelly Roll’s “Run It.” Instead, the soundtrack includes Holkenborg’s original pieces, including his own rendition of “Live & Learn” from Sonic Adventure 2.
In addition to the signature soundtracks, the album is filled with references to the Sonic games, including song titles like “It All Starts With This” (a reference to Shadow’s first line in Sonic Adventure 2), “Green Hills, Present,” “Green Hills, Good Future” (from Sonic CD), and “E.G.G.M.E.N.” (Eggman’s theme from Sonic Adventure 2). Several musical motifs from “Live & Learn” are also scattered throughout the soundtrack, with “Escape from the City” also being referenced in track 20 “G.U.N. Control”.
