The chosen track is “Neon” from ONE OK ROCK’s 2022 album Luxury Disease. With lyrics referencing “Shibuya Nights,” the song perfectly captures the vibrant, neon-lit atmosphere of Tokyo’s iconic Shibuya district. Fans may recall that “Vandalize”, another song from Luxury Disease, was featured in Sonic Frontiers, marking a continuing collaboration between the band and the Sonic series.
Scenes set in Shibuya have already been teased in the trailers, making “Neon” an ideal match for the movie’s Tokyo-centric setting. This collaboration beautifully weaves together Sonic’s world with the spirit of one of Japan’s most dynamic cities.
