SEGA Corporation has announced that the latest installment in the series, Sonic × Shadow Generations, which combines the high-speed actions of the popular character Sonic and the dark hero Shadow, will be released on October 25, 2024 (Friday) for PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Nintendo Switch™, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC (Steam/Epic Games Store).
Due to the time-space distortions created by the mysterious Time Eater creature, the stories of Sonic and Shadow each begin to unfold. Experience the highly anticipated completely new game, Shadow Generations, where the dark hero Shadow dashes around freely, and Sonic Generations, where you can enjoy speed runs through various stages with both Classic and Modern Sonic. In the completely new Shadow Generations, you can experience a new story and authentic high-speed action with the dark hero Shadow as the protagonist.
A mysterious shadow targets Shadow, the black hedgehog born as the ultimate life form. The evil super-being Black Doom, who once attempted world domination and was defeated by Shadow, rises again. This time, Black Doom plans to conquer the world by obtaining Shadow’s power.
With his past, new powers, and those he must protect, Shadow’s adventure, caught between light and darkness and fighting for the fate of the world, begins!

In Shadow Generations, the story progresses around a freely navigable 3D map called “White Space.” As you obtain Doom Power, you can access more areas, enjoy conversations with characters, find hidden items, and take on challenges. Sonic Generations:
A High-Speed Action Game Where Wwo Sonics, Who Should Never Have Met, Race Across Dimensions!
In Sonic Generations, the time-space distortions cause Classic Sonic and Modern Sonic to meet in a single world. To restore the world’s order, which was disrupted by the mysterious creature “Time Eater,” and to rescue their friends trapped in the time-space distortions, the two blue hedgehogs rise to the challenge!
Race through a variety of stages at supersonic speeds, from bustling cityscapes and mountains surrounded by nature to poisonous chemical plants and temples floating in the sky!

New additions include rescuing adorable creatures called Chao scattered throughout various locations in “Chao Rescue,” as well as expanding gameplay options with the “Drop Dash” action.
