Johnny Gioeli, the lead vocalist of Crush 40, the band responsible for some of the franchise’s most memorable rock themes, has confirmed to us directly that the band will be in the third Sonic the Hedgehog movie in some way.
It is still unknown exactly to what extent the band will be involved, but we’re hoping for a climax featuring their iconic track “Live & Learn” from Sonic Adventure 2.
Band members Johnny and lead guitarist Jun Senoue have expressed their disgruntlement when the first two Sonic movies released without their iconic music anywhere to be seen. However, it looks like the band’s dreams of being on the silver screen will finally come true when the movie releases this year on December 20!
