Naoto Ohshima has recently shared a collection of concept art for the upcoming Sonic Superstars! The artwork comprises numerous ideas, primarily focused on level gimmicks, and showcases charming sketches of Sonic that evoke memories of the sketches featured in the Japanese manuals for the Mega Drive Sonic games.
The artwork was shared on Naoto Ohshima’s Bluesky account. Although Sonic Superstars isn’t explicitly mentioned, many of the level gimmicks depicted in the art align with those seen in stages we’ve already been introduced to, such as the vines from Speed Jungle Zone.
