On August 8th, 2023, SEGA initiated a special campaign titled “Fast. Friends. Forever.” This campaign is designed to commemorate Sonic’s global fan base, featuring a series of events, collaborations, and activities throughout the year. While certain elements of this campaign have already been revealed, such as the Sonic x LEGO collaboration, the Sonic Symphony, and the Sonic Speed Café, numerous additional undisclosed events are also in the pipeline for the upcoming months.
The announcement was accompanied by a special video, which you can watch below:
Every week, the official Sonic social media accounts will also be posting a special 4-panel comic in collaboration with some of the artists within the community. These comics will be accompanied by text and video interviews. As of now, three comics have already been released, which you can also check out below:
An official website for the campaign has also been launched, containing information about events, the aforementioned comics, character bios, and recently released games.
