LEGO has finally unveiled actual images of the new Sonic the Hedgehog sets that are set to be released later this year, and they look incredible!
The collection includes four sets, each featuring beloved characters from the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. The first set, called Sonic’s Speed Sphere Challenge, will retail for $34.99. It includes Sonic, a brick-built Moto bug, and Sonic’s Flicky friend. The set also features a launcher, an arch, gold rings, a ramp, and mini-builds of a beach chair and DJ.
The second set, Tails’s Workshop and Tornado Plane, will retail for $39.99. It features Tails’s red plane along with his workshop, a Buzz Bomber, and Clucky. The set includes minifigures of Sonic and Tails.
The third set is called Amy’s Animal Rescue Island, which will retail for $49.99. The build has a beach area with hidden spots, along with minifigures of Amy and Tails, and figures of Picky, Pocky, and Flicky. There’s also a brick-built Crabmeat.
Finally, the most expensive set in the collection is Sonic’s Green Hill Zone Loop Challenge, which will retail for $99.99. This set is the largest of the four and features a layout with the iconic big loop. It includes Dr. Eggman, brick-built Badnik Chopper and Newtron, and Sonic and Amy minifigures along with Flicky, Becky, Pocky, and Pecky.
