According to an article by Japanese gaming publication Famitsu, Sonic Frontiers first free content update will also include an “Extreme” difficulty setting and the ability to use the Power Boost inside Cyber Space stages!
The update will add the following new elements to the game. Details of each element will be announced again on Thursday, March 23, so stay tuned!
- Jukebox
- Photo Mode
- Cyber Challenge!
- Battle Rush
- “Extreme” difficulty
- Cyber Space “Power Boost”
- Extra Contents, etc.
What they mean by extra contents is still unclear at this point however, the website also mentions that a a 1-hour demo of the PlayStation 5/PlayStation 4 versions of the game will be available for PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers on March 23rd, when the update is implemented. After playing the trial version, you will be able to carry over your save data to the full version if you purchase the game.
