According to Netflix news blog What’s on Netflix, Sonic Prime has broken a new record for original animated series debuts on the platform, with a total of 67,530,000 hours by the end of its 3rd week in the Global Top 10, managing to beat out other Netflix original shows like The Cuphead Show, Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight and May and the Three, with the later two leaving Netflix’s Global Top 10 by the Week 3.
Sonic Prime is set to have more episodes released later this year with a total of 24 episodes already scheduled to release.
