Shadow the Hedgehog (Dash & Spin)

Shadow is a black-furred anthropomorphic hedgehog with distinct features. He has red eyes, a patch of white fur on his chest, a black nose, a tan muzzle, and small, triangular ears with tan inner canals. His head has six quills—four curving upwards and two downwards—along with two spines on his back and a short, pointy tail. Red stripes adorn each of his head quills, the edges of his eyes, and his arms and legs.

In terms of attire, Shadow wears white gloves with black cuffs and red tongues, and red and white rocket-powered shoes, which also have black cuffs and red tongues. Additionally, he sports a gold ring on each of his wrists and ankles.

Described as a delinquent, Shadow acts tough and aggressive, often greeting new acquaintances with “Watcha lookin’ at?” He is very egotistical, claiming to be perfect and the ultimate life form, and frequently boasting about his speed, strength, and coolness. Despite his claims of delinquency, his attempts to prove his superiority are often absurd, such as randomly challenging people to staring contests. However, Shadow does show a friendly side to those who earn his respect, as evidenced by his friendship with Sonic after losing to him in a series of ridiculous contests.

Shadow claims to be even stronger than Sonic, though he has not demonstrated any feats of strength, leaving his true strength unknown.

Equipment

Shadow wears a pair of rocket-powered shoes, which enable him to hover and skate at super speed.
