A pair of new Sonic-themed tabletop arcade games are heading to Japan later this year, giving fans a compact way to recreate the arcade experience at home.
Entertainment merchandise distributor Infolens has announced the upcoming release of the Sonic Air Hockey Mini and Sonic Basketball Game Mini, both inspired by Sonic the Hedgehog. The products are designed to deliver classic arcade-style gameplay in a small format suitable for desks or home play spaces.
The Sonic Air Hockey Mini will arrive first, with a planned release in late August 2026. Pre-orders for the game opened on February 25, 2026. The tabletop unit recreates the familiar air hockey experience in a compact design, allowing players to compete in quick matches against friends or family.

The product features a package size of 165 × 105 × 200 mm and will retail for ¥3,300 (tax included).
Following that launch, the Sonic Basketball Game Mini is scheduled to release in late September 2026. This tabletop game uses a simple analog mechanic where players flick the ball with their fingers to score baskets. In addition to its gameplay function, the design is also intended to serve as a decorative desk collectible for Sonic fans.

Like the air hockey version, the basketball mini game will retail for ¥3,300 (tax included).
Both products will be available through the INFOLENS GEEK SHOP online store as well as the physical INFOLENS GEEK SHOP Ikebukuro PARCO location in Tokyo once they release. Additional retailers may carry the items after launch.
INFOLENS GEEK SHOP specializes in officially licensed merchandise from major entertainment and gaming properties, offering hundreds of products through its online storefront and its Ikebukuro retail location.
With Sonic continuing to expand across games, films, and collectibles, these miniature arcade-style games provide another playful way for fans to bring a bit of the arcade experience into their homes.
