A future hedgehog × classic style!?

What really shocked me was the combination of Silver and round glasses!
Silver’s futuristic vibe paired with those retro, soft-looking frames. At first glance it seems unexpected, but they match surprisingly well and feel wonderfully fresh.♪

And above all, it’s the situation of him reading a book. In Sonic the Hedgehog (2006), he left a strong impression as someone driven by the mission to reclaim peace, so seeing Silver like this, full of a “warrior at rest” kind of calm, really made my heart skip a beat.

Silver’s strong, straightforward eyes take on an intellectual air when seen through the lenses, making him feel like a “reliable young professor.” I can’t be the only one who thinks that.♪

What is he reading…?

Even so, what kind of book could Silver be reading? A novel? A history book? That slightly troubled look on his lips might be a hint…?

…Or maybe it’s a book recommended by his good friend Blaze!?

Grumbling something like, “You seriously expect me to read something this hard?” he still uses his signature psychokinesis to turn the pages one by one, carefully deciphering each line. He may have started out reluctantly, but before he realizes it, he’s completely absorbed in the content.

That scene really conveys his earnest nature.

Different from Sonic’s coolness as a fellow hedgehog, or Shadow’s solitary strength, Silver’s appeal lies in that sincere kind of coolness that comes from learning, struggling, and still trying to move forward!

Personally, ever since I started imagining Blaze somewhere just out of sight behind the scenes of this wallpaper, I can’t help but see Silver as being completely absorbed in reading, quietly burning with determination (?). It’s irresistible.
