Sonic the Hedgehog is teaming up once again with Japanese retailer Thank You Mart for a brand new collaboration line, bringing stylish and affordable Sonic the Hedgehog and Shadow the Hedgehog merchandise to stores across Japan.
Set to launch in mid January 2026, the collection includes 12 items built around the contrasting personalities of Sonic and Shadow. The designs lean into a bold pop meets cool aesthetic, highlighting Sonic’s upbeat energy alongside Shadow’s darker edge. As with all Thank You Mart collaborations, every item is priced at just 390 yen before tax, making this one of the most budget friendly Sonic merchandise drops in recent years.
Online preorders will open first on December 24 at 12:00 PM JST through Thank You Mart’s official online store. In store sales will begin as stock arrives at individual locations from mid January onward. Availability will vary by store and region, and items will be sold while supplies last.
The lineup mixes collectible items with everyday fashion pieces. Fans can expect character profile style acrylic keychains, clear holographic stickers, and face cover cases designed for ID cards or commuter passes. Wearable items such as T shirts and shoulder bags are also included, making it easy to work Sonic and Shadow into everyday outfits.
This collaboration marks the latest chapter in a long running partnership between Sonic and Thank You Mart, which first began in May 2022. Each release has generated strong attention on social media, and this new line taps directly into one of the franchise’s most popular dynamics by centering on Sonic and Shadow’s hero and dark hero contrast.
