Funko has revealed a brand new lineup of Sonic the Hedgehog Pops, and this wave is sure to delight fans of the classic games. Inspired by characters from Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Sonic CD, Knuckles’ Chaotix, SegaSonic the Hedgehog, and Sonic Triple Trouble, the collection features Fang the Sniper, Mecha Sonic, Mighty the Armadillo and a classic style Amy Rose complete with a Chase variant.
Amy’s Chase figure is already shaping up to be the standout of the wave, featuring a winking pose and a set of Tarot Cards referencing her appearance in Sonic CD. Meanwhile, Fang and Mighty continue their recent resurgence following their returns in Sonic Superstars and Sonic Mania. Although Ray the Flying Squirrel is missing from this lineup, his close ties to Mighty make him a likely candidate for a future release. Mecha Sonic, based on his appearance in Sonic the Hedgehog 2, also receives a sleek new sculpt.
