SEGA has officially released the free Joker content for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, letting players race alongside Sonic and friends as the leader of the Phantom Thieves himself. The new update adds Joker as a fully playable racer, complete with his sleek Arsène Wing vehicle and three new Persona 5 Royal-themed tracks: “Take Over,” “Wake Up, Get Up, Get Out There,” and “Victory.”

The Joker Content Drop also includes new emotes and sound effects inspired by the Persona universe. Players who own either the Standard or Digital Deluxe editions of the game will automatically receive the update after installing the latest version. An internet connection is required to download and access the new content.

To celebrate Joker’s arrival, SEGA will host The Joker Festival, a special limited-time in-game event running from October 24 to October 27. During the event, players can earn Festival Points through online races to unlock exclusive rewards.

SEGA also announced that Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds has officially surpassed one million copies sold worldwide. Since launch, players have completed over 74.5 million races, 31.5 million Grand Prix events, and 13 million Ranked Matches marking an impressive milestone that highlights the growing success of SEGA’s high-speed crossover racer.
