The wait is almost over—Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is about to hit the starting line, and SEGA has unveiled the game’s official launch trailer to mark the occasion.
The trailer captures the intensity of the Blue Blur and his rivals tearing through the unpredictable CrossWorlds, highlighting the game’s chaotic mix of land, sea, and air racing across ever-changing tracks. You can check out the full trailer here:
Players eager to test their skills can still jump into the free demo, available now on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, and Epic Games. The demo features Grand Prix and Time Trial modes along with vehicle and Gadget customization, with save data carrying over into the full game.
Launching September 25 on all major platforms, Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds features the series’ largest roster yet with 23 racers, including Sonic and friends alongside crossover guests such as Hatsune Miku, Joker from Persona 5 Royal, Ichiban Kasuga from Yakuza: Like a Dragon, Minecraft’s Steve, Alex and Creeper, SpongeBob, Patrick, and Pac-Man.
The game also boasts over 70 Gadgets that let players fine-tune their strategies, and full cross-play support for online modes including the 12-player World Match, special Festival challenges, and competitive Time Trials.
With the hype building, the launch trailer makes one thing clear—this is Sonic’s boldest racing adventure yet.
