SEGA has announced its full plans for Tokyo Game Show 2025, running September 25–28 at Makuhari Messe, and Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds will be front and center. Attendees will be able to try out crossover racers ahead of release, including Hatsune Miku, Joker from Persona 5 Royal, Ichiban Kasuga from Yakuza: Like a Dragon, and characters from Minecraft. Players who take part in the demo will also receive an exclusive can badge, with 14 different designs available at random.

Beyond the show floor demo, SEGA and ATLUS will host a packed stage schedule streamed live on SEGA’s official YouTube channel. Guests include creators, influencers, and special performers, with highlights such as a 2BRO. stage with Sonic producer Takashi Iizuka, competitive exhibition matches, and a live Project ONSOKU performance featuring Yunosuke, Sonic, Shadow, and Pac-Man.

Visitors can also sample CrossWorld Dog, a themed hot dog inspired by in-game tracks. Flavors include Sand Road & Apotos (salsa & avocado, tomato & basil) and Dragon Road & Ocean View (chili & cilantro, teriyaki & aonori).

The Family Game Park will host a kid-friendly demo of CrossWorlds with more can badge giveaways, while the merchandise area will feature exclusive Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds goods, including:

  • Street art-style Sonic T-shirt
  • Sonic flight tag
  • 2BRO. × Sonic photo card set

Tokyo Game Show 2025 runs from September 25 to 28, with SEGA and ATLUS located in Hall 4-N06. Public days are September 27 and 28.

With big-name crossovers, live music performances, themed food, and limited-edition merch, Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is set to be one of the standout attractions at this year’s event.
