With Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds just days away from release, fans who got hold of early physical copies have uncovered a major surprise: Mega Man is officially part of the game’s Season Pass lineup.

The leak comes from inserts packaged inside retail copies, which display all six Season Pass franchises. Among them is Capcom’s iconic Blue Bomber, confirming his first playable crossover appearance with Sonic in a console title. Multiple sources have since shared images and video proof of the flyer, which even features a QR code linking to SEGA’s official pre-order site, leaving little room for doubt.

While Capcom has kept the Mega Man franchise relatively quiet in recent years outside of merchandise and compilations, his addition to CrossWorlds feels right at home. Sonic and Mega Man have a long history of crossing paths, most famously through Archie Comics’ Worlds Collide and Worlds Unite crossover events. Now, that legacy continues on the racetrack.

The leak also aligns with community discoveries from earlier this month, where NiGHTS was spotted on the back of the physical game case as post-launch DLC. Together, these details point to an ambitious Season Pass lineup that blends SEGA icons with guest stars from across gaming.

An official announcement from SEGA is expected soon, likely ahead of next week’s launch. Until then, fans can look forward to seeing Mega Man speed alongside Sonic, Shadow, and the rest of the crossover roster.

Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds launches September 25 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
