The Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds open network test has officially wrapped up, and SEGA has shared new insights into which characters players gravitated toward the most. The test drew strong participation, with fans praising the stable online servers and smooth racing experience ahead of the game’s launch later this month.
At the top of the popularity charts was none other than Shadow the Hedgehog, who claimed first place as the most selected character during the test. Sonic followed closely in second, while Jet the Hawk impressed with a strong third-place finish. Rounding out the top five were Tails in fourth and Cream & Cheese in fifth, showing the duo still holds a special place in players’ hearts.
Sonic Racing CrossWorlds launches later this month on Nintendo Switch, PS5, PS4 Xbox, and PC, with a Nintendo Switch 2 version also planned for the future. Fans won’t have to wait long to see how these rankings hold up once the full roster of racers hits the track.
