First PUBG. Then Fortnite. Now it looks like Sonic the Hedgehog could be speeding into Rocket League, completing what feels like a live-service gaming trifecta.

Details are slim, but reliable leaker @SamLeakss claims that a collaboration is in the works. A Discord channel was renamed “Gotta Go Fast” earlier that day as a teaser, and the same source also suggests Sonic vehicle skins may be on their way to Fortnite. The connection tracks, given that Fortnite is owned by Epic Games, which also acquired Rocket League developer Psyonix back in 2020.

We were able to confirm that the Discord server in question does exist:

With Sonic already confirmed for PUBG Mobile and rumored for Fortnite, rolling into Rocket League feels like a natural next step. The Blue Blur has steadily climbed into the top tier of gaming crossovers, appearing alongside some of the industry’s biggest franchises.

No launch date has been rumored for when the collaboration might go live, but if it’s real, Sonic could soon be boosting, flipping, and scoring goals Rocket League–style.
