We’re only weeks away from the release of Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, and SEGA is still unveiling new content. The latest reveal confirms that the mysterious train-filled stage teased in a recent CrossTalk episode is officially called Steampunk City.
This unique CrossWorld is a land of steam and iron, filled with sprawling railways, massive locomotives, and towering industrial structures. Racers will speed under bridges, launch above tracks, and dodge enormous trains that barrel across the course.
A new video shared on the official Japanese Sonic Twitter account gives fans their clearest look yet at Steampunk City in action. The footage also provides one of the first extended glimpses of Metal Sonic and his vehicle tearing through the track.

Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds launches worldwide on September 25, 2025, for PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
