SEGA has released the second track in its special Project ONSOKU collaboration between Sonic the Hedgehog and Hatsune Miku. Starting today, fans can listen to “We Are PikoPiko Hammers!!!!”, an original song written and composed by cosMo@Bousou-P. The track is now live with a brand-new music video on YouTube.
The song is themed around Amy Rose, blending sporty rock energy with a touch of cuteness that perfectly matches the character. According to cosMo, writing adorable lyrics was a refreshing challenge, while the high-tempo arrangement reflects the excitement of Sonic’s fast-paced world. The collaboration artwork was illustrated by Kurumitsu, known for work on projects such as Pokémon TCG and CHUNITHM.
All Project ONSOKU songs will also be featured in Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, launching worldwide on September 25, 2025, where they will serve as in-game race music.
