Just when it seemed like the Sonic x DC collaboration had reached its peak, Jakks Pacific has revealed even more figures on the way. This new wave brings Superman and Batman into the mix, along with a fresh batch of hedgehog heroes for collectors to enjoy.
After last month’s pre-orders for 5-inch figures of Sonic, Shadow, Silver, Amy, and Darkseid, a new preview from The Pop Insider confirms that DC’s most iconic heroes are joining the lineup. Both Superman and Batman will get their own 5-inch figures, making them the first non-Sonic characters to appear at that scale in the series.
Fans of the smaller 2.5-inch figures will also have something to look forward to. New mini versions of Knuckles and Shadow, dressed as Superman and Batman, will be joining the line. These smaller figures are perfect for collectors who enjoy building scenes or displaying them alongside playsets.
There’s no official release date yet for these new additions, but based on the timeline of the first wave, they will likely hit shelves later this year.
With something for both casual fans and dedicated collectors, the Sonic x DC figure line keeps getting better. Whether you prefer detailed larger figures or small display-friendly ones, this crossover has plenty to offer.
