This renewed streaming success adds to the film’s already impressive record. With a 96% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes and a global box office gross of over $1.2 billion, Sonic the Hedgehog 2 continues to cement its status as one of the most successful video game movie adaptations ever made.

The film reunited fans with familiar faces, including Ben Schwartz as Sonic, Idris Elba as Knuckles, James Marsden as Tom Wachowski, and Jim Carrey in his wild return as Dr. Robotnik.
